Technical Leadership Program
Technical expertise is a fundamental component of our projects and programs. The Technical Leadership Program focuses on sharing lessons learned to help implement new technologies and expand current ones; identifying and recognizing our technical leaders; and encouraging and developing our present and future technical leaders.
Craft Training
Shaw is accredited to train and certify employees with industry-wide accepted NCCER (National Center for Construction Education and Research) credentials. Shaw's programs blend critical safety, technical and interpersonal skills to meet the needs of employees just starting a new career or continuing their education as highly skilled craft professionals.
Leadership Training
Shaw uses the very best curriculum, interaction with experienced and certified instructors and partnerships with top colleges to deliver leadership programs that drive improving performance. Mentoring programs, tailored to the needs of the business and the participant, complement the training. By providing quality development opportunities, employees can grow their talents and skills across numerous levels.
Continuing Education
Shaw University, a collaboration of the Learning and Development departments within the company's business units, is a central portal delivering education, training, and professional development programs to our employees. Training courses offered include health and safety, workplace compliance, information technology and technical programs provided and supported by the engineering discipline groups. For employees wanting to further their education, we offer tuition reimbursement to eligible employees.
Safety Training
